Working for this industry leading business as an Accounts Assistant every day will be different so if you’re an experienced finance professional looking for a new varied role this could be a great fit for you.

Every day will be different working in close-knit finance team of 3 you’ll need to be a team player working closely together to make sure the finance function is moving smoothly day to day and any queries are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

You’ll be working for a company with a supportive culture and positive working environment, they’ll take your expertise on board so if you spot anything that could be done better or a process that needs to be changed just shout up.

Ideally to hit the ground running in this all-rounder position you’ll have a few years’ experience in transactional finance and be confident in managing both purchase and sales ledger with invoice processing, reconciliations, payment runs and resolving anyqueries.

You’ll be working from the head office based in Alfreton working 40 hours a week with a bit of flex on start and finish times around office hours, you’ll also benefit from 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

- 2-3 years’ experience in accounts
- Worked in a varied position previously
- Confident with finance processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing purchase and sales ledger
- Bank recs, payment runs and banking
- Ad hoc support with month/year end when necessary
