**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated, organised, and driven Assistant Merchandiser with industry experience. Working with an established UK fashion and apparel brand, you will actively participate in weekly merchandising and trading meetings, analyse sales figures, and perform departmental catalog/product line performance reviews for production and expenditure efficiency. This role serves as a pathway to merchandiser and an opportunity to gain international experience across a variety of departments.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Support the Merchandiser in coordinating, planning, and executing merchandising activities.
- Regularly update reports on a weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis to ensure accurate data representation.
- Analyse day-to-day sales and stock levels in relation to supply chain timelines.
- Utilise historical analysis to draw conclusions, identify risks and opportunities within the market.
- Proactively address and escalate any missed deadlines or potential issues affecting product availability.
- Identify purchase orders (POs) and necessary amendments
- Take prompt action on re-pricing and markdown changes, considering local and international trends.
- Assist in conducting thorough inventory, sales, margin, and markdown analysis with a global perspective.
- Resolve merchandising and production problems promptly, showcasing cross-departmental communication project management skills.
- Manage product delivery trackers efficiently and respond to customer queries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to product information, pricing, and shipping.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of merchandising experience (highly desirable)
- Graduates with a degree in fashion and/or project management
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and take on additional responsibilities, including those with an international focus and broader stakeholder engagement.
- Self-driven and highly organised, ensuring timely delivery of results across different time zones.
- Proactive problem-solver and Self-starter

**Schedule**:
UK work hours (9am to 5pm) 40 hours a week.

**Location**:
Hybrid model, based in Birmingham.
