**Job Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Financial Control Team as our Purchase Ledger Analyst. We’re looking for someone to join our team of purchase ledger analysts and be responsible for the end to end processing of accounts payable and employee expenses.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract

Main Responsibilities

You will mainly be responsible for inputting supplier invoices and staff expenses along with the production of the weekly payment run. You’ll be handling basic and complex queries from both suppliers and internal colleagues around these key tasks.

There is an opportunity to grow and develop within this role and as your knowledge grows, you’ll be able to assist with the system testing of the purchase ledger system along with gaining an understanding of formulas and macros used in the routine models.

To ensure productivity is optimised, you’ll manage and prioritise your workloads, maintaining an appropriate balance between service and volume. We will also be looking for you to identify and champion continuous improvement within your area and across the business where appropriate, to make sure all processes are relevant and in the best interest of our customers.

We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude who is able to adapt to ensure all work is achieved on time. The successful individual will be able to work well as part of a team and as an individual using their own initiative. You will also have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy and be able to prioritise effectively. A willingness to learn and develop within the role is important
