DSFS Ltd are looking to recruit hardworking, enthusiastic individuals to join our Domestic Services Team as a Domestic Working Supervisor to provide a high-quality domestic service to the new Urgent & Emergency Care Department based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

We want you to be proud to work as a Domestic Working Supervisor and feel it a strong and vital part of our hospital team - knowing you are working side by side on the frontlines making a HUGE difference every single day helping to keep all areas clean and tidy, everything we do centres around patient care and enhancing their experience which means your role is pivotal and something really to be proud of.

The rota will be based on 4 week basis which will include some weekends and bank holidays, the shift patterns are:
- 2 posts working 16:00 - 20:00 rota based 14.0 average

In your role as a working supervisor, you will work alongside PSA staff to help carry out cleaning duties throughout UECD you will provide direct supervision and organisation to a team of domestic staff. You will have overall responsibility to ensure yourself and the PSA staff are following schedules, guidelines and national cleaning standards whilst also being around to support and manage the workflow between all the busy UECD departments ensuring the team are always proactive.

Applicants should have experience & knowledge of supervising staff, meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for reliable individuals to pro-actively support the continued improvement of the Domestic service whilst working within a team or under own initiative.

Knowledge of Infection Prevention & Control, COSHH, Health & Safety and the NHS National cleaning standards would be an advantage.

You must be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and be able to actively seek solutions be resourceful and create a plan of action to share with your team to ensure we are responsive to the needs of the service.
