Horizon Teachers are seeking a SENCO to join a fantastic primary school in Islington. The role will be for 2 days a week at a Good' rated Ofsted school and the prospective applicant will need to have worked in a SENCO role before.
The primary school pride themselves on their welcoming atmosphere, and this is reflected within the classrooms as students are reminded about the importance of being kind and empathetic to others. They help their students develop their resilience and help themto set their standards sky-high. They make sure to celebrate the achievements of all their students, both inside and outside of school, on the journey they take in life.

- Understand the primary phase
- Be fully committed to the development of inclusive school wide visions
- Can manage any instances of challenging behaviour
- Have a thorough understanding of the SEND code of practice
- Have up-to-date knowledge of current teaching practices and safeguarding legislation
