We are currently seeking an experienced Revenue Controller to join a dynamic finance team for a global firm, based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. As a Revenue Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and controlling revenue streams, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of revenue accounting, including revenue recognition, billing and collections.
- Analyse revenue and sales data to identify trends, deviations and discrepancies.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue reports for management review and analysis.
- Liaise with internal teams, such as sales and operations, to ensure revenue-related processes are optimized and streamlined.
- Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and guidelines.
- Maintaining professional regulatory standards and knowledge.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue accounting or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and guidelines.
