Ultrasonic Inspector

Metalis are working with a prestigious Engineering company based in Leeds. They are well known for their design, manufacturing, and overhaul components within the automotive and rail sector.

**Job Role: Ultrasonic Inspector**

This is a temp - perm job role - this means you would be on a 12-week standard probationary period, which will then lead to a permanent contract with the company after the completed 12 weeks.
- Ultrasonic testing of components
- Inspection, evaluation and sentencing of product in line with customer specifications
- Perform in process quality checks ensuring product / equipment comply with the relevant customer specifications and audit checklists
- Understanding the materials to be tested, how they are manufactured and the impact on the end product
- Highlight any non-conformances to Quality/Technical Department and actively contribute to the overall quality of the product and associated processes
- Good attention to detail
- PCN Level 2 - Preferred - experience/time served is considered also

**Shifts and Salary**:

- Days - 4 x 10 hour shifts - Monday-Thursday
- £15ph & OT Available at £18-£19ph
