**About IAPA**

IAPA is a leading global association of independent accounting, audit, tax and legal firms that are relationship centric, with a global mind set. Established in 1979, IAPA comprises over 80 member firms with offices in over 60 countries.

IAPA has recently moved to a hybrid working model, meaning this role will be home based, but will also require regular in-person meetings and in-person events with member firms. Overseas travel will be necessary from time-to-time, but no more than 2-3 times a year.

**The role**

As a **Member Services Officer** your duties will be wide ranging and include:
Administration:

- Developing the reputation and visibility of the IAPA brand within existing member firms, the profession and wider market.
- Developing strong relationships with existing and potential member firms.
- Supporting new and existing membership enquires.
- Researching potential new members via regulators in numerous jurisdictions.

Events:

- Working closely with the Office/Administration Manager to assist in the organising of IAPA events globally, to include online and face-to-face meetings, webinars, regional and global conferences etc.
- Assisting in the production of conference materials including brochures, slide decks, CEO speeches, video presentations, photographs.
- Liaising with speakers, writing press releases and uploading all relevant material to the IAPA website and social media sites.
- Facilitating post conference reviews and reporting the results.

Member Services:

- Sourcing and promoting members success stories and case studies.
- Assisting in the creation of IAPA newsletters, bulletins and reports, sourcing relevant material from members, Board members, CEO and any other relevant sources.
- Engaging with any PR, marketing, events and general member service queries from IAPA members.

**The person**
- Experience working within a multifunctional administrative and/or member services role.
- Can demonstrate through examples where a proactive and highly collaborative approach to deliver results was necessary.
- Experience of using management/negotiation skills to deal with external contractors and suppliers.
- Proven ability to manage a busy workload with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
