**Job description - Landmark Marlborough**

**Christmas Temporary Staff Required**

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, hardworking Casual Retail Assistant to join our friendly team and assist our Web Sales Department for the busy Christmas season.

The position is based in the largest of our stores, located on the High Street in the market town of Marlborough, Wiltshire. This store is home to a collection of premium country, outdoor & lifestyle brands such as Barbour, Schoffel, Fairfax & Favor, Dubarry, Holland Cooper, Patagonia, Rab, Meindl, Scarpa and many more.

**Your duties would include**:

- Assisting the web sales team as directed
- Picking and packing web orders ready for dispatch
- Use of EPOS system

Previous experience in a busy retail environment preferred but is not essential as training will be provided.

Qualifications:

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Please note that this is a seasonal position with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: £8.00-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Marlborough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
