Job Role - Operations Supervisor - Hospitality

Reporting to - Directors

Based - City of Edinburgh

**Operations Supervisor**

We are looking for someone who is experienced in the operational function of Restaurants who will oversee the daily operations of two restaurant locations. This is a fundamental role in support of our culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction. The Operations supervisor will work closely with the Directors to ensure an excellent guest experience, manage profitability, and deliver on the short and long-term objectives of the business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurants, including the FOH, BOH & Event departments.
- Ensure that all departments deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
- Responsibility for the general restaurant operations including quality, standards, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure the look and feel of the restaurants are maintained to a very high standard.
- Promote a culture of excellence and positive employee engagement.
- Work alongside all restaurant supervisors to ensure the smooth running of the day
- to-day operations.
- To carry out regular inspections of all areas to ensure that Health, Safety and Hygiene standards are being met and accurate records are being kept across all areas.
- Be innovate and always look for ways to improve the guest experience.
- Attend regular meetings with the Directors to discuss operational matters, performance, and guest feedback.
- Regularly review and implement Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments, and other Health & Safety matters.
- Liaise regularly with the Directors to forecast and plan for weekly business levels.
- To maximise on financial opportunities through business development ideas and following market trends.
- Previous experience of Operations at a multi-faceted operation.
- Minimum experience: 3 years.
- Strong background in Restaurant Hospitality
- Excellent understanding of H&S in the hospitality environment.
- Experience in successful leadership team.
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Preferably educated to Degree level
- Fluent IT literacy with the ability to successfully navigate differing systems.
