We are seeking an experienced **Community Gardener** to provide essential gardening services to clients over 55 within the community, fostering vibrant community spaces and promoting green living.

**Job Type**: Permanent, Zero-hours, Monday to Friday.

**Hourly rate**: £11.44 per hour

**Location**: Across the Swale regions of Faversham and Sittingbourne
- You will be provided with a rota of clients that you will attend to on a weekly/fortnight or monthly basis. You are required to maintain basic records such as weekly hours worked._

**Key Responsibilities**:

- General gardening e.g. mowing, grass cutting, patio/gutter cleaning, edging, strimming, weeding, pruning, hedge cutting, planting.
- Establish and building relationships with clients whilst maintaining a flexible approach to the service provided.
- Able to work independently as well as working as a team.
- Client focused, organised, good time management, punctual and reliable.
- Report to the Community Services Coordinator any concern for the well-being of the service user, alerting them to any urgent/serious problems.
- Flexible to the service user’s wishes as to how the work is carried out.
- Work to high standards consistently.
- Adhere to the principle of confidentiality.
- Adhere to the advice set out in the Lone Worker Policy.
- Maintain accurate records of work hours.

- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years' experience in gardening.
- Exhibit excellent time management and self-direction.
- Showcase exceptional customer service abilities.
- Hold a valid UK Driving license and access to own vehicle.
