Glasgow, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time

Do you have the motivation and drive to join the team in Glasgow’s Health and Social Care Partnership’s Specialist Children’s Services. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional nurse to lead the operational delivery of a specialist service for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. We are looking to recruit a forward thinking individual who has experience of working within a CAMHS context. This person will support the management and development of our newly established multi-disciplinary teams engaging in neurodevelopmental assessment, post diagnostic intervention and providing support and consultancy across the wider children’s services system. The post holder will work across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Specialist Community Paediatrics Teams. You will work with the Implementation Lead in developing systems and processes to enable effective assessment and care for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. You will also support effective clinical governance and ensure appropriate systems of supervision are in place for a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians. You are required to be professionally registered, have management or leadership experience along with significant experience in working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. Qualification in non medical prescribing or interest in gaining this qualification would be advantageous. Training and support for your professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision and evidence-based practice. Full time and part time applicants will be considered. Informal enquires and discussions are welcomed, please contact **Nikki Wallace, Neurodevelopmental Implementation Lead.
