Hertfordshire & West Essex Integrated Care System are looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner or registered clinician to support the delivery of the Advanced Practice agenda across Hertfordshire and West Essex.
This will require strong stakeholder management skills as well as a passion to develop services.
You will work with colleagues from across the system including the ICS Advanced Practice strategy group.
To support the planning, delivery and assurance for the successful development of ACP and programmes of quality improvement which
support commissioners in achieving outcome ambitions for patients.
- Work with region and ICS to ensure plan in place to realise NHS job offers for all graduates and support reform work to maximise scope, ensuring sufficient Band 5 posts for the number of graduates in the region for majority of ACP professions
- Contribute to plan for a standardised preceptorship/early careers programme for new qualified ACPs and run pilot of programme at the Trust
- Deliver standardised preceptorship programme in Trust when agreed
- Enable the increased uptake of National Education and Training survey across the ACP population at the Trust and ensure appropriate service improvement plans are in place
- Develop strategy to reduce ACP attrition and improve retention ACPs
- Develop career paths for ACPs to support retention, with clear skill requirements and development programmes for progression

This is a senior leadership role that represents all ACPs in the Integrated Care System (ICS), who will work system partners to build a shared purpose and commitment to support ACP workforce transformation and build strong sustainable ACP community across the ICS. This role will be responsible for developing the Trust ACP strategic workforce plans and to establish initiatives across the system to support ACP workforce priorities using HEE ACP resources.
- The post holder will lead on the development of workforce plan for ACPs across the system, and represent the ICS at regional and ICS meetings
- To lead, manage and actively participate in the planning and implementation of strategic workforce transformation plans at the Trust
- Ensure the Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Workforce Development has a strong governance and quality framework including the setting and monitoring of standards
- Lead on any audits or quality improvement initiatives that are generated to measure the effectiveness of the developments within the project
- Review and reflect on own practice and performance through effective use of professional and operational supervision and appraisal
