- 8.30am to 3.30pm, Term time only
£70 per day

Do you have the patience, empathy, enthusiasm, passion, and caring nature to work with challenging pupils? Are you fed up with pupils being labelled as ‘badly behaved’ when actually they just struggle to access the education system? Do you think that personcould be you?
Your role would be to support and develop the young people in the school into being successful in their studies, whilst remaining safe in a caring learning environment. You’d be supporting the teaching staff on and off the site. Flexibility is key. You maybe working 1:1 with a pupil or in a class with a small group. No two days are the same.

**Qualifications**:
GCSE English and Maths qualification - Grade C-Standard pass

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Experience of working in Education
- Experience of young people within 11years and upwards.
- Understanding of Safeguarding
- Experience of managing challenging behaviours.
- Experience of working within an inclusive setting

**Skills**:

- Be able to work on your own or as part of a team
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Good IT skills
- Fit and healthy
- Committed to working with children

**Key Duties**:

- Helping pupils with their learning, helping to exceed their education targets.
- Supervising group activities
- Motivating and encouraging pupils’
- Monitoring and recording children’s behaviour and progress
- Helping with school trips and activities.
- You will then provide feedback and assistance to the teacher.
- Recording all accidents and incidents or health and safety issues.
