The post holder will sit within the Engagement Outreach and Floating Support team and consult
with existing service users to develop activities and well-being sessions that will support them
through their recovery. This project will work with individuals aged 18 and over who may have
additional needs such as;
- Drug and/or Alcohol use
- Mental Health
- Vulnerably Housed
- Criminal Justice involvement

**Responsibilities:
- Consult with existing service users to develop weekly activities that can be delivered in a

group setting or individually.
- Provide 1-1 well-being sessions.
- Transport clients to appointments.
- Support the Engagement Outreach and Floating Support workers with appointments.
- Develop working relationships with external organisations.
- To operate within and observe partnership policies and procedures as amended and

updated.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with Adferiad Limited’s policy and procedure and

with any statutory/contractual requirements.
- Work in a non-judgmental, anti-discriminatory way always.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and regular supervision sessions.
- To be responsible for working within own level of competence.
- To undertake internal and external training as appropriate, and as required as part of

Continuous Professional Development.
- Maintain appropriate written and database client records and undertake appropriate

administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Organise and manage time effectively to ensure service delivery and opportunities are

maximised
- To develop and maintain professional working relationships with external agencies.
- Must demonstrate empathy towards Adferiad Recovery’s beneficiaries.
- To carry out all other tasks commensurate with the role.
- To have commitment to and demonstrate an undertaking of equality of opportunity and its

relevance to different sectors within the community.

have/had substance misuse issues or
Mental Health issues
