**Temp Fleet Storekeeper**

**Working Pattern: 40 hrs per week - Monday to Friday **

**Type: 6-month temp contract**

**Location: Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire **

Via is currently looking for a Temp Fleet Storekeeper to join our Fleet Team based at our Head Office in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.

You will assist in providing a robust supply chain to the internal and external stakeholders.

**The Job **

Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Maintain a closed loop supply of parts, surcharge returns, warranty parts, and consumable items to internal and external customers.
- Establish relationships with key suppliers, negotiating value for money on purchases with consideration for just in time demand ensuring cost and quality control.
- Establish and maintain a well-presented stock room, with mapping and processes illustrated where necessary.
- Maintain compliant and respectful of all relevant health, safety and environmental aspects and impacts that directly relate to fleet maintenance.
- Monitor supplier invoicing, ensuring details are correct and processed in a timely manner.
- Plan and prioritise work to meet operational deadlines to facilitate service delivery.

**The Person **
Mainly you will be excited to be a part of our Fleet team, but there are just a few other things we’d like from you:

- Experience of working in a storeroom environment and the ability to maintain calm in pressured situations
- Industry knowledge and experience of the motor trade
- Proven ability to plan and prioritise workload and react to customer queries
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices applicable to a workshop environment
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
