Cobalt is looking for a Senior Building Manager for an iconic development in London on behalf of one of the market leaders in the property world. Our client is looking to add to their ever-growing range of FM talent with an experienced Senior Building Managerfor this stylish commercial asset. In this role, you are presented with an opportunity to enhance your skill-set within a landmark building whilst representing an industry-leading organisation.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to manage a Grade A trophy asset in the heart of London, whilst working for a renowned company that has an incredible record in the industry for empowering and developing staff whilst maintaining their enviablereputation.

**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Overall management of a Grade A large trophy building comprising commercial multi-let offices with blue-chip tenants.
- Management, reconciliation, and setting of the service charge budget.
- Managing and liaising with all onsite contractors and framework suppliers.
- Overseeing all health and safety policies and insurance inspections of the building.
- Recruitment and selection of employees to ensure that the capability and team structure are aligned with the current and future plans of the business.
- Adopting a proactive approach to changes in market conditions through maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation that may affect general management.
- Carrying out regular inspections of the building fabric and maintenance to ensure health and safety practices are being followed.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Placing emphasis on delivering exceptional service and ensuring all staff members are following these expectations.
- Implementing and identifying plans to assist in developing the team, whilst including training activities and succession planning to enhance their growth.

An IOSH is essential. A NEBOSH is preferred. You will have prior experience in managing a large-scale commercial building in the property industry. As this is a client-facing role, you must be able to engage with tenants whilst demonstrating the abilityto deliver exceptional customer service.
