**Title**: Senior Bookkeeper

**Salary**: £30,000 - £40,000 + benefits

**Location**: Enfield

A firm of Chartered Accountants based in North London is seeking to recruit a Senior Bookkeeper. If you are an ambitious and driven individual looking to take that next step in your career, then this could be the role for you. You will be joining a dynamic and fast-growing North London accountancy practice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing Bookkeeping / Management Account services for a diverse portfolio of clients that include Sole Traders, Partnerships and limited companies
- Liaising with client managers as well as working directly with clients
- Preparing & submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Planning and completing a diverse range of assignments
- Posting of Accruals, Prepayments
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Posting of Journal Entries

**Requirements**:

- Hold either a AAT/ CAT / qualification
- Must have a robust knowledge of double entry.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Brexit will be an advantage.
- Have experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Excel and VT +
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- Comfortable working to deadlines
