Storeman/woman

Stores/Handy person required for installer of electronic security systems in Skelmersdale.

Hours of work: 08.00 - 17.00 (1 hour for lunch) x 37.5 hours per week.

3 -month trial period.

20 days holidays (pro rata) plus statutory bank hols.

Salary - £26,000.00 p/a.

Van with fuel card provided from existing fleet.

**Requirements**:

- Full, clean UK driving Licence.
- Clean criminal record - as all staff must pass CRB due to NSI regulations.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety.
- Friendly, polite, honest, team-worker, good communicator.

**Stores Duties**:

- Keep Stores and workshop clean & tidy at all times.
- Maintain interior and exterior of building, including garden and car park.
- Store archives and destroy as appropriate.
- Maintain plant and keep in good working order.
- Carry out spot checks on vehicles. Check for damage, cleanliness and excess stock once per month.
- Keep return and associated paperwork up to date i.e.: orders, progress reports and invoices.
- Upkeep monthly consignment stock.
- Carry out weekly check on all stores booked out.
- Carry out general repairs to faulty equipment in workshop.
- Build-up of CCTV and other equipment including job kits, as and when required.
- To be available for engineering support as and when required.
- To be available for Cherry Picker work as and when required.
- Deliveries and collections.

**General Skill requirements**:

- General repair work and property maintenance, lifting & carrying.
- Painting and decorating.
- Working at height to clean gutters, paint/clean high level windows.
- Gardening.

**Salary**: £26,000.00 per year
