**The Home**

Dunlarg Care Home situated in Keady Road, Armagh. Nursing home with maximum of 50 Service Users. Categories of care: - old age not falling within any other category, Physical disability other than sensory impairment, Physical disability other than sensory impairment - over 65 years, terminally ill, Dementia, Mental disorder excluding learning disability or dementia

**The Role**

Within this role you will support and assist in the planning and implementation of resident care. You will deliver care to the resident as prescribed by the individual care plans.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Providing practical support and responsive care to residents who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and the relevant healthcare legislation
- Observes and monitors the wellbeing of residents ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate.
- Monitors and allocates the work for care assistants.
- Develops and maintains a good professional relationship with residents, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.
- Responsible for the administration of medicines

**You will need**:

- Educated to a minimum GCSE/NVQ 3
- Previous experience in care home setting
- Medications experience within care setting
- Right to work in the UK
