Apprentice in Lean Manufacturing

Lean Manufacturing Apprentice will:

- receive on the job training by working in all production related areas of the business in close cooperation with the Team Leaders and Production Operatives
- complete all assigned tasks within the remit of their training with due diligence and in a timely manner
- fulfil the requirements of the training programme as per the guidelines from the Apprenticeship Provider (attend meetings, complete all necessary documentation (on the job and off the job records), return assignments etc.
- adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and follow any other Company's policies and SOPs.
- determination to learn
- effective communication skills
- problem solving skills
- high work ethics
- adaptability and flexibility
- preferably Level 2 or GSCE grade 4 in Functional skills
- Maths and English *

*Although the above is not an essential requirement for entering the apprenticeship programme this qualification must be achieved prior to the completion of the apprenticeship. Full support will be provided from both the Apprenticeship Training Provider and the company.
