The shift pattern is Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00 (22.3 hours).

Tier 4 CAMHS are part of Specialist Children's Services, providing mental health services in the community and through Regional and National Inpatient Units. Working in Tier 4 CAMHS offers the opportunity to be involved with a diverse service user population. An exciting opportunity is available for a Band 7 Lead CAMHS Dietitian to join the specialist CAMHS Eating Disorder team working across GGC. The post will offer a highly specialist clinical opportunity within a well-established eating disorder team. The primary role would be to offer evidence based treatment through dietetic risk assessment, education and care planning with the young person and their family to support recovery. You will work closely with colleagues in Tier 3/4 CAMHS and with RHC colleagues.

You will be registered as a dietitian and have relevant experience in planning and providing person centred and outcome based care.

You are required to be HCPC registered and experience with Mental Health or Paediatrics is desirable. You will have excellent written and verbal communication. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enjoys being part of an enthusiastic team and is looking to develop their leadership skills. You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with staff as well as children, young people and their carers.

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and national policies/ agendas.

You will have knowledge and experience of working in teams where care is coordinated and you will fully understand the impact of integrated care and services.

A strong culture of support, development, CPD, reflective practice and supervision exists to maximise our patient's experience, safety and outcomes and your career progression.

Training and support for your professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision to support good practice.
