My client is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our growing team based in Skelmersdale, Where you will be specialising in General Insurance and Financial Services.
This permanent, full time position is crucial to maintaining our success with the outstanding customer satisfaction and retention. Handling a portfolio of new and existing accounts, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and utilisingyour specialist knowledge for the benefit of your customers and the business.
Salary & Benefits:

- Salary (dependent on experience)
- Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Pension
- 25 days annual holiday, plus bank holidays
- 10 days paid sick leave (over a rolling 12 month period)
- Opportunity to undertake CII qualifications
- Flexibility to work from home one day per week, once fully licensed
The Role
" Providing new quotations and working with the customer to actively close sales.
" Identifying customer needs and advising on a variety of products to ensure we are fully protecting our customers which will include utilising our financial and risk management proposition.
" Supporting the agency Partners with policy administration, processing transactions and managing their renewal book.
" Managing renewals across Farm, Commercial and Personal insurance products.
" Providing exceptional customer service, consistently demonstrating the expert knowledge and advice we are known for.
" Liaising with underwriters and other key stakeholders regarding customer requirements.
" Building and maintaining long term relationships with our customers and other stakeholders.
" Ensure all transactions comply with FCA requirements.
- " Minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) including Maths and English or equivalent experience.
" CII Certificate of Insurance qualification, currently studying or prepared to undertake.
" Effective relationship management skills, via both written and verbal communication methods (on the phone and face to face).
" Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
" Ability to work to strict deadlines within a compliant environment and manage a complex workload.
" Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft programs, and quick to adapt to new systems.
" Insurance experience preferred, but not essential.
