The centre is always busy, each week we run a few pool-based classes and our swim school is incredibly popular alongside these we have a busy timetable with options for the whole family. Diss Leisure Centre is part of the South Norfolk and Broadland council and is one of 5 Leisure Sites. **What you’ll be doing **
- Supervising the pool area
- Setting up activities within the centre such as putting lane ropes out for sessions/classes/swim school and putting out equipment.
- Ensuring the centre is well run, clean and tidy, and always ready for business
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Delivering Centre Tours, Signing up members and working in reception.

**You must have **
- RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, including First Aid, or willingness to undertake training programmes leading to qualification within a specified timescale.
- Ability to complete required staff training to ensure ongoing continuing professional development and compliance of the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Ability to concentrate while undertaking pool side duties.
- Good communication, tact, teamwork and customer service skills.
- Awareness of health and safety requirements within the leisure industry.
- Awareness of safeguarding requirements.
- Ability to work a combination of early, day and late shifts on a rota basis over a seven-day period to accommodate the centre’s opening hours.
