**Job purpose**
Responsible for collecting finished products and storing of goods adhering to all site health & safety regulations, ensuring safe and competent use of forklift truck
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Ensuring all Health & Safety is adhered to as per TPP policies and procedures
- Responsible for completing pre-operation safety checks daily and reporting all truck faults immediately
- Operate a Multi-Directional FLT to a high standard and within all rules and regulations
- Loading and unloading of finished products within all rules and regulations
- Using radio frequency equipment to keep in touch with other staff
- Manually handling goods when necessary
- Stacking products safely in designated areas
- Banding and packing products
- Maintain high quality standards of storage of finished product
- Communicating effectively with colleagues
- Work with colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
- Operating in other areas of the business when required

**Job Specifications**
- High levels of Health and Safety standards
- A current Multi-Directional forklift licence
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good communication skills, oral and written
- Smart, presentable and able to build good rapport
- Enthusiasm for the role
- Professional attitude
**Terms of Employment**
**Hours**:40 hours per week
13.45-23.45 Monday - Thursday
**Pay**: £12.50 per hour with the view to increase in line with our pay structure after a successful probationary period.
**Holiday**: Our holiday calendar runs run from January to December and we offer 23 days plus national bank holidays, which is calculated pro rata if employment commences part way through the year. Some days have to be taken as holiday at Christmas when the factory is shut.
**Health care scheme**: We provide a primary health care scheme for all those employed for more than 12 months.
**Pension**: We have a workplace pension with The People’s Pension into which employees are auto enrolled after 3 months
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
