We're looking for a highly motivated Ground works supervisor to join ASAP to our fantastic team in Ebbw Vale
- Job Title**:Ground works supervisor**
- Location: Ebbw Vale
- Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (+ Bonuses)
- Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Ground works : min 2 years (required)
- Site Supervisor: 2 years (required)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Planning and programming of works
- Organising labour, materials, and plant
- Ordering of materials to suit the programme
- Supervision of onsite works
- Liaison with occupants whilst works are in progress
- Maintaining and developing customer relationships
- Quoting variations on site
- Managing health and safety on site, including the preparation of RAMS
- Managing work quality
- Conducting toolbox talks and regular site inspections
- Ensuring programs are delivered on time, hitting KPIs and financial targets
- Signing off completed works ready for invoicing
- Working in close co-ordination with our Contracts Manager
- Working in close co-ordination with our clients, including attending and contributing to weekly meetings
- Manage small works orders
- Signing off subcontractor invoices
- Raising issues which may impact the program or budget in a timely manner
- Assisting in the resolution of customer queries /complaints

**Essential**
- Two years’ experience in a similar construction role
- SSSTS/SMSTS
- Appropriate CSCS card
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good organisation skills to ensure that multiple projects are completed on time and on budget
- Full driving licence
- Good IT skills - competent user of Excel, Word etc

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
