Senior Finance Business Partner

* Interim contract of c. 6 months
- Multiple roles available at NHS 8b - 8c level
- Mostly/entirely remote with occasional Yorkshire based meetings
An exciting interim role where your finance work will have an indirect impact on saving lives as a Senior Finance Business Partner - Pricing.
What you'll be doing...
You will be providing strategic level financial planning support to the senior management team of a specific business unit and will foster strong working relationships.
You will act as a 'challenging sparring partner' balancing effective business partner support with appropriate challenge, delivering strong performance management against agreed targets for key business areas.
You will be commercially aware and contribute to the business unit achieving key strategic objectives, in a challenging, competitive environment.
You'll be providing costing support and also where required, development of pricing strategies, in conjunction with operational colleagues, for new and existing products, services and customers.
You'll use your commercial and strategic awareness to provide financial input to the development of business cases and investment appraisal decisions, as well as the accurate tracking of (multiple) project delivery costs and financial benefits; attending projectteam meetings as appropriate.
What you'll need to offer...
You'll be a fully qualified CCAB (ACA / ACCA / CIPFA ) or CIMA accountant
If you have previous experience of working within the NHS or knowledge of NHS Finance it would be useful, but if you don't have this it would be a great opportunity to be able to transfer your skills into this sector.
What is key is someone with a great track record in finance business partnering at a senior level and ideally some exposure to pricing and / or costing.
In terms of location, you'll need to be based in the UK with a full UK RTW, but the role can be completed on a remote basis although if you would like to be considered for a temporary to permanent option then being based within a commuting distance of SouthYorkshire or London would be needed for hybrid working c1 day per week.
