**Assistant Cook and Cleaner**

**Headline Terms**

- Rate of pay: £13/hour
- Hours: up to 22 hours per week

- Contract: Initial part-time, fixed term contract until 31/09/24.

Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre is Cornwall’s leading provider of school camps, summer camps, and outdoor adventure.

Our new assistant cook and cleaner will be responsible for assisting our Head Cook with all matters food at our centre. Feeding up to 200 children every day, the role will suit someone with school or volume catering experience.

As Assistant Cook and Cleaner at Porthpean OEC, you will be play a crucial part on site, overseeing a variety of different functions. This will include management of:

- food preparation
- food hygiene
- kitchen and site cleanliness
- kitchen and site compliance
- stock rotation

- You live locally to the Cornish south coast and are passionate about Cornwall and all it has to offer. You hold a Full UK Drivers licence, with unrestricted access to a vehicle.
