Highway Maintenance Operative

**Role**

**Rejuvo JPCS** has a vacancy for Highway related activities **Fieldwork/Groundwork Technician**. The post will include performing a variety of site tasks. The position involves working outdoors all year round.

Routine tasks involve:

- Blowing, cleaning, jet washing, scraping surfaces by hand and in most cases mechanically
- Cutting back undergrowth, mechanically
- Hand excavations, ironwork lifting
- Other general labouring duties e.g. repairing footways, breaking out of hard standing, general reinstatement of tarmac/grass or landscaped areas, helping to mobilise equipment to sites with difficult access, light instrument monitoring, delivery of consumables to site, collection of samples from site and tidying stores where required.

We’re looking for a communicative individual with the ability to work alone and as part of a team. You must also:

- Be comfortable in undertaking a physical role; the job involves being on your feet for long periods of time.
- Have an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Have a full, clean UK Driving Licence (LGV entitlement an advantage).
- Keep accurate, records and reporting of all work carried out.

**Salary**: £11.50-£14.00 per hour
