Edelman is seeking a Head of Production to lead the production department across EMEA. The HOP will be the connection point for Production across the region to grow the function and create connectivity across the offices of EMEA.

The person will be a well-established production leader with a truly integrated background in producing content and robust knowledge in the business of production. This person will know the established rules and look for areas to change and break the status quo as our production capability delivers a range of content including Broadcast, Long-Form, Social, OOH, Live Events, Sweeps, Digital Activations, AI infusion... Etc.

The HOP EMEA reports into the Global Chief Production Officer with a line into the EMEA Chief Digital Officer. They will partner with the head of EMEA studio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build a next generation production operation for the EMEA across all elements of production, including digital, social, fast twitch. Including infusing AI based solutions into our workflow.
- Ongoing leadership, management, growth and oversight of content production scopes, resources and workflow
- Execution of high-quality content at low-cost in a quick, agile creative environment
- Drive innovation in the use of technology - editing, AI, asset management - to drive both efficiency and effectiveness in production outcomes for clients
- Understand the role of data in driving creative development and understand the role of emerging platforms in driving new creative formats and innovation
- Develop strong partnerships with all major leads of our client facing businesses
- Direct and manage our production team, both in their day-to-day responsibilities and in their ongoing career development
- Contribute to and support our client and financial goals in terms growth, margin improvement and client satisfaction
- Streamline and manage content production across all projects
- Analyze content production operations, and streamline workflows and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage staff, performance reviews and mentor career growth
- Create budgets and forecasts as required within the financial cycle
- Monitor all financial metrics related to production staffing - billability, utilization, investment allocations and revenue forecasts
- Partner with leadership, and finance and HR departments to optimize all staffing activities within the production group - open hires, rotation planning, freelance management and vendor management
- Stay abreast of new developing digital production technologies

**Qualifications**:

- Must have at least 15+ years of experience production, post-production experience, minimum five years at studio, network, agency, production company
- Strong business acumen to support the daily financial management and strategic commercial vision of the organization
- Led production teams across a region or globally
- Must have project management/program management experience
- Must be an inspiring leader, teacher and mentor for others
- Must have an eye for emerging maker talent
