**Lodge Park Academy are recruiting for a Head of Art **for a January, April or September 2024 start.**

The town of Corby in situated in the north of the county and is close to the market towns of Stamford, Uppingham, Oakham and Market Harborough. There are good transport links to the southeast and the city of Leicester is only a 35 minute drive.

**_ About the role_**
- To be a role model for teaching, setting high expectations, developing pedagogy, student’s learning styles and a climate for learning
- To lead the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies, assessment and teaching and learning strategies in the department
- To play a full part in the life of the academy community, to support its mission and ethos and to encourage staff and pupils to follow this example
