**Your new company**
I'm working with a specialist content marketing business to recruit high Mid-level or Senior.Net Developers to join their fast-growing team. They run campaigns for a A-Grade list of household businesses and have a new MD and Head of Development fully boughtinto investing into the tech team.
The roles are offered remotely but with occasional visits to the head office in Central Winchester when necessary. These won't be contracted days but if the team is whiteboarding or kicking off a new project you should be available to go in for a day here orthere (in practice once a month or every 2 months).
**Your new role**
The company has done amazingly well in a short space of time and their current system has reached capacity. With the new investment in tech the decision has been taken to replace their system with a new version so it's a greenfield environment for those comingin.
The new system will follow Domain Driven Design using.Net Core and the intention is to take it to API level ready to push out to customers so this is what to expect in the first year in the role. The role is predominantly back end, but with the opportunityto grow front end knowledge in Vue and move to full stack if you wish.
If joining as a senior the expectation will be to offer support and mentoring to the Junior Developers in the team. The Dev Manager still remains hands-on so will contribute to the code base and everyone pulls in the same direction.
**What you'll need to succeed**
We're looking for experienced Developers that have built API's, used.Net Core and really know the nuances of C#.
Of course we need strong SQL Server skills and you will have likely progressed from an Asp.Net MVC background through versions to Core /.Net 6.
As you will be primarily working on green-field projects, a familiarisation with one or more of the following design patterns/principles would be an advantage, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS), Clean Architecture (CA).
Knowledge of Vue.js or React would be highly beneficial but not essential.
