**Job description**

Trinity Business Support are currently looking for an experienced counter assistant to work for our client based near Selby.

**The Job**:

- Registering a high level of customers on sales days.
- Provide a high level of customer service to both buyers and sellers.
- Managing cash and card payments.
- Preparing driver pass out paperwork.
- Offering assistance to the credit control department.
- Oversee all administration associated with the running of a busy depot, as well as performing other routine administrative tasks.

**Experience Required**:

- Be highly organised and conscientious and keen to deliver a high level of Customer Service.
- Self-motivated with good attention to detail.
- Reliable with desire to exceed expectations.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Minimum 2 years administration experience in a busy office environment
- Good level of data entry with proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience dealing with international customers would be an advantage.
- Flexibility and willingness to work extra hours during busy auction periods.

**Shifts**:
Monday to Friday 08.00-17.00

One working weekend required every six weeks

**Pay**:
£21,700-£22,500 + overtime

**Salary**: £21,700.00-£23,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Selby, North Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
- Receptionist: 2 years (preferred)
