This is a great time to join the Lifeline team. We have just procured a new back office system to support Lifeline and with the move to Whitefriars exciting new opportunities are opening up.

Lifeline supports thousands of people across East Kent and the successful person will be joining an established and experienced team who are excellent ambassadors for the council and the Lifeline service.

We are looking for someone who has an understanding of community alarms and the people who benefit from their use. Full details are in the job description, but applicants will need to demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with people who are typical users of community alarms, understand and be able to clearly explain how the apparatus works, instilling confidence in its use.

There is a need to communicate with the customer to obtain and share all relevant information for Lifeline to work effectively. Further to this you must have the ability to liaise with key stakeholders, such as customers' next of kin and medical services who are a primary source of referrals to Lifeline.

Applicants will need to demonstrate an understanding of telecare equipment how it is best used, its installation, and where necessary fault identification as well as ways to rectify these. They will also need to demonstrate the ability to accurately maintain customer records.

The role does require the ability to plan journeys to customer's homes when undertaking visits so that they are undertaken in a timely and efficient
manner.

A standard DBS check required for this role.
