Salary from £28,000 to £30,500 depending on experience.
Remote Working, with some travel required for learner observation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Early Years/ Childcare Skills Coach
- Deliver engaging learning programmes in order to support learners towards their Apprenticeship Qualification in Residential Childcare.
- Use and develop a wide range of resources and techniques, tailored to learners’ individual needs.
- Observe and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
- Provide insightful, constructive, and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential.
- Proactively monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress
- Visit and observe learners in their place of work to support and gather evidence

Skills, Experience and Qualifications for the Childcare Skills Coach/Trainer
Vocational experience within a Childcare or Early Years setting - Residential experience would be highly desirable
Assessor’s Award (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent).
Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET, PGCE or equivalent).
IQA award or be willing to work towards.
Experience in delivering training and coaching sessions to learners.
Full UK Driving Licence, with access to own vehicle and a flexibility to travel.
