Logyard Operator

**Log Yard Operator**:

- **Based Cargo, Carlisle - CA6 4BA**:

- **2 Rotating Shift Pattern (40 hrs per week)**:
Based at our Carlisle Sawmill, you’ll be responsible for a variety of duties across the Log Yard, working within a team and individually.

**_Specifically, some responsibilities of a Log Yard Operator include: _**
- Movement of logs using 360 material handler and 20T wheeled loader with front log grab.
- Unloading of log wagons.
- Operation of weighbridge: booking in/out sawn goods, logs and coproducts as well as controlling incoming site traffic movements.

**_About you:_**

We are looking for a motivated individual who is production focussed and has the ability to meet deadlines. In addition, you’ll have;
- A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Have appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
- Experience using heavy mobile plant would be preferred but is not essential as full training is provided.
- Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous.
- Full driving licence.
