**We are opening a new site in Fareham Our new Distribution Centre will be a 117,000 sq ft modern DC that will be moving up to 270,000 cases per week and will be servicing our group customers across both retail and catering such as Londis, Budgens, Premier and Shell**

**Your duties within the role will be**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Clerk to join Booker at our new Fareham Distribution centre. This role will cover across both the Operations and Goods in Offices.

You will be responsible for
Complete the clerical functions necessary to keep physical warehouse activity running smoothly

Monitoring of pick and replenishment control screens for Ambient, Tobacco and Frozen

Investigating of back pics, suspended pics and replenishments

Dealing with Proof of Delivery Paperwork

Dealing with Drivers and receipt paperwork

Releasing orders for checking

Liaise with goods in checkers and supply chain

Report dangerous stacking, racking damage, obstructions and any other danger or irregularities immediately to a manager

Assist in the counting of stock as required

Assist in the issue of any paperwork, documentation as required

Undergo any training when required by the Company

Any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business

You will need
Numeracy and literacy

Experience within warehouse chambers would be advantageous

Flexible and versatile

Able to produce quality standard of work

Good PC and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure
