**Location**: Huddersfield

**Pay**: £9.50 - £10.05 per hour, Temporary to Permanent

XCL Group are currently recruiting for a leading manufacturing company in Huddersfield that specialise in pre-built brick products They are looking for a Production Operative to join them on a long-term basis. The position would be temporary with a chance to go permanent after a probationary period of 12 weeks.

The main duties of the Production Worker will be, but not limited to:

- Operating machinery and hand tools in order to produce high quality products, ensuring that all quality specifications are met.
- Move products to dedicated areas, some of the products can vary in weight
- Prepare products for dispatch ensuring that no damage can come to the items.
- Follow 5S standards at all times. Ensure that all health and safety procedures all followed, including Covid guidelines.
- Assist other team members if required, and be willing to work individually.

**Preferred Skills/ Experience**:

- Be organised and able to multitask.
- Have a good eye for detail.
- Ability to use own initiative, and follow instructions correctly.

**Hours of Work**:

- Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm
- Friday 8am - 3.30pm.

**Pay**:

- Temporary - Permanent
- £9.50 - 10.05 per hour, dependent on experience
- Weekly attendance bonus of £25, once perm.
