An excellent and rare opportunity has arisen to join the DSFS Post Team. The small but dedicated, passionate and committed Post Team are based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Hours Available

15.5 hour vacancy - Permanent

Tuesday 1 till 4.30pm

Wed, Thursday and Friday 1 till 5pm

Sorting of mail into franking, internal and community sorting trays.

The delivery / collection of mail items to each department within the Trust.
Franking mail items to be sent by Royal Mail.

Logging all recorded and special delivery items.

Tracking the recipient of poorly addressed mail

Work to specific product requirements required by external distribution suppliers eg Business Mail Advance.

Data collation and input into on line systems providing an efficient service and to ensure cost effectiveness is achieved.

To actively participate in the Staff Development Review process.

To be familiar with relevant Operational, Personnel, Health and Safety Policies and procedures, including Fire, COSHH, No Smoking and Alcohol.

In connection with the above, uniform will be provided, and it is important that a clean and tidy appearance is maintained.

The nature of the patient care duties requires that a courteous and helpful manner is used at all times
