PURE is a European Social Funded project that supports people over the age of 25 who have complex needs and who are furthest away from the labour market. We provide them with intensive support by building their confidence, developing work skills and helping them secure employment, education or training opportunities.

PURE project is a £20m project managed by Birmingham City Council, delivered by nine specialist community partners. We also work closely with employers, care providers, social workers and commissioners to make sure each individual has the personal support they need. The project has a strong partnership approach that brings people together across the city

**Role**
- The post holder will take responsibility for assigned projects or service areas.
- Deliver the commissioning intention or elements of them to plan - as delegated by the Commissioning Management team.
- The post holder will undertake activities that provide evidence regarding the delivery of improved outcomes by undertaking commissioning activities that are of an appropriate standard and comply with regulation.
- They will maintain service specific expertise as required in order to ensure that specifications represent evidence-based best practice and services are delivered to a high standard.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships that support the delivery of the contracted activities and maximise its value to the Council.

**PURE - Specific activities**:

- To undertake activities in relation to the implementation of claim and monitoring systems relation to ESIF and other external contracts.
- The focus of the post will be to support the delivery of the PURE Project.
- To advice and give specialist guidance to contract managers and partners on compliance with ESIF funded projects
- To liaise with the DWP Managing Authority and other partner bodies as appropriate to ensure the processing and submission of regular financial information, claims or other monitoring information

**This is a Fixed Term opportunity due to end in December 2023**
