Groundsman

**Position Summary**

An exciting opportunity has become available at the Retford United football club to join our friendly team of staff and volunteers as a Groundsman. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a great team at Cannon Park, Retford 'DN22'.

**Working Hours**:Part-time - 20 hours per week

**Your shift pattern**: 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.

The salary example £9,880 is based on NMW and will be reviewed with NMW changes however salary for this role is negotiable and dependant on experience.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining the football club’s grounds including general repairs, painting, mowing the pitch and keeping the grounds to a high standard
- Interacting with staff and volunteers in a friendly, helpful manner.
- Working flexibly, particularly around weekends and bank holidays to support the club.
- Identifying and reporting any issues with the playing surface which may affect match days.

- Garden or ground experience would be ideal
