We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team at Hair by Lafro, a leading Afro-based hair salon in Salford. As a hairdresser in our salon, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, enhance clients' natural beauty, and contribute to their confidence through exceptional hairstyling services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a wide range of hair care services tailored to clients with varied textured hair, including but not limited to braiding, dreadlocks, weaving, natural hair styling, extensions, treatments, and colouring.
- Consult with clients to understand their haircare needs, preferences, and desired outcomes.
- Offer expert advice on haircare maintenance, styling techniques, and product recommendations suitable for their hair texture.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the hair industry to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment to uphold salon standards and ensure a comfortable environment for clients.
- Uphold professionalism in client interactions, ensuring excellent customer service and fostering positive relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a hairdresser specializing in Afro-textured hair, with a strong portfolio showcasing your diverse skill set and creativity.
- Proficiency in a variety of hairstyling techniques, including braiding, weaving, natural haircare, extensions, and colouring, with a focus on catering to the unique needs of Afro-textured hair.
- Knowledge of different hair types, textures, and styling methods, along with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to actively listen to clients' preferences and effectively translate them into personalized haircare solutions.
- Dedication to continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Commitment to upholding salon policies, procedures, and standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Relevant certification or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Must understand all accents.

**How to Apply**:
**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
