**Hours**: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 / Friday 08:00 - 15:30

¾ hour lunch break each working day starting at 12.15pm and ending at 1.00pm.

**Salary**: £11.75 per hour

**Role Type**: Temp to perm

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit a Goods In Inspector for a client based within the City Centre, BS1. As a Goods In Inspector, you will be inspecting parts and goods into the company, control of sub contract parts, sending and receipt.

**Overview**:
To ensure all parts and goods into the company are correct to Purchase and Manufactured requirements, through reading of engineering drawings, inspection methods. Goods are booked into the system accurately and despatched to the relevant areas as required. Good housekeeping and a desire for good accuracy and vigilance is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- To use the current software to book in and despatch all parts as required and help further develop the system to improve efficiencies.
- Goods receipt and verification of all goods both manufactured from the machine shop and bought in.
- Inform relevant departments or persons of the deliveries should the need arise.
- To count all deliveries on receipt to ensure stock accuracy
- To assist the supervision to develop the department to meet any KPI’s implemented.
- Work within agreed work instructions and procedures to maintain and improve operational standards.
- Promote and ensure the correct use of PPE and Corporate Image and promote best working practices within the department
- Carry your daily duties in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001
- Carry your daily duties in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies
- Assist your supervision in any other projects as required

- Previous experience of working within a manufacturing department
- Previous Goods In experience
- Good communicator
- Adaptable
- Data entry experience desired
