- Continuing our company growth, we are currently looking for a new Naturally Fabulous team member to join the Lionel Hitchen family_

**Duties will include but are not limited too**:

- Collect and analyse data and report to HSE Manager daily.
- Ensure accidents, incidents and near misses are recorded according to company procedures.
- Conform to and develop area safety standards for safe working practices and good housekeeping.
- Support HSE Committee meetings.
- Contribute to the implementation and updating of HSE policies and procedures as required.
- Contribute to the development of Safe Systems of Work documents with the Operational Team.
- Contribute to audit performance by carrying out regular HSE audits, record any findings and/or observations and contribute to planning resolution actions against them.
- Contribute to preparation of hazard mitigations, development and implementation of risk assessments and procedures.
- Assist the HSE Manager during regulatory Inspections, record any findings and/or observations and contribute to planning resolution actions against them.
- Liaise with LH stakeholders and Waste Contractors about arranging waste collections.
- Maintain / retain Waste Consignment Notes and record of Waste Carrier Licenses.
- Update Waste Tracker.
- Develop schedule of training for staff by collaborating with relevant stakeholders
- Participate fully in relevant training courses.
- Generation/review of written procedures for own category/value stream.
- Coach/train unskilled staff where required.
- Keep up to date on HSE-related issues and topics throughout the business.
- Review and propose suitable training providers.

**Job knowledge and skill requirements for this position are**:

- A good level of understanding and attitude towards HSE aspects.
- General understanding of current processes and procedures along with the potential hazards arising from them.
- Ability to prioritize work to ensure tasks are completed within time constraints.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of or training in ISO45001:2018 Standard is an advantage, training to internal auditor level preferred.

**Salary**: From £28,000.00 per year
