Manufacturing Lead

Allstaff Manufacturing Division requires a Manufacturing Lead for our client based near to Inverness. **The role**:
- Assume full responsibility for the well-being of the entire manufacturing team of partners, acting as their advocate, fostering their growth and development.
- Be a fervent supporter for the establishment of a food processing facility that surpasses internal and external expectations in terms of culture, quality, and service.
- Guide and mentor Manufacturing Managers and manufacturing partners, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles and are effectively leading their teams
- .Guarantee that Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Floor partners receive comprehensive training in all aspects of their responsibilities, enhancing motivation and engagement to achieve production goals.
- Lead engagement initiatives with a focus on improving satisfaction survey results.
- Delegate ownership of outcomes to area leaders and teams.
- Create growth opportunities for all partners, fostering an environment of trust and support where partners can step outside their comfort zones and view failure as a valuable learning experience.
- Encourage the expression of ideas, ensuring that every partner has a voice and can contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure equitable representation of all partners in the Recognition and Reward process, providing a platform for partners to showcase their contributions to Aquascot's success.
- Implement a Performance and Development Review (PDR) process where applicable, with a tailored plan for partners to comprehend and manage their own skill development and salary.
- Promote a culture that acknowledges both successes and failures as valuable learning experiences. Timely recognition and reward for excellence should be extended to all partners.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Council, Board, and leadership teams to ensure an exceptional workplace for all partners
**Experience required**:
Ideally 10 years manufacturing experience managing large teams (>40) within a food manufacturing environment as a benefit but not essential.
Previous management role within successful Production Team with the necessary qualifications
- Significant experience in similar position in manufacturing environment
- Experience in a managing day to day operations with regard to product safety and quality
- Experience in Continual Improvement Initiatives and track record of success
- Experience in using the manufacturing process and quality checks data for trend analysis.
- Experience in use of MS Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Comfortable in using systems for monitoring and data gathering especially manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Track record of visual data engagement with the broader production team
