**Project Engineer**
**Location**:Leven
**Length**:11 months
**Rate**: £235-258 per day (inside IR35)
**Hours**: 9am - 6pm
The role is positioned in the Global Brands Supply, Project Engineering team providing Capital Project support to Manufacturing sites including distillation, brewing, spirits and beer packaging and maturation warehousing. The overall purpose of this team isto deliver capital expenditure projects. For this role this includes:
**Responsibilities**:

- Contractor management to co-ordinate project execution with specific emphasis on health and safety management.
- Use specialist knowledge to safely deliver capex projects, working closely with Supply Operations teams and Capex Project Engineers.
- Support the Civils Capex Project Engineer on the ground with safe working practises, adherent to RAMS, site inductions are planned and contractors have access to site in advance of activities starting.
- Co-ordinating and managing external resources.
- Manage construction activities and overseeing commissioning activities.
- Review work progress on a daily basis, ability to plan ahead and anticipate / mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental standards, including the Construction, Design & Management Regulations.
- The role holder will have a construction / H&S engineering management background.
- Permitting of site works, control and coordination of both works and people.

**Skills:**:

- The main focus of role is around SAFE management of contractors:

- Hence must have NEBOSH General Certficate as a minimum
- Construction / Project / Civil Management
- Health & Safety Management.
