I am representing a specialist flooring contractor operating on a full supply and install, install only or supply only basis, offering high-quality flooring solutions to a range of organizations, such as local authorities, housing associations, NHS Trusts,housebuilders, property developers and large private landlords.

**Position: Finance Manager**

**Location: Manchester**

Overview: The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the specialist flooring contractor. This role will provide strategic and operational financial support to the business and will play a key role in driving growth,improving financial performance and ensuring that the business meets its financial obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with statutory financial reporting and taxation requirements.
- Manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet business needs.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and tax advisors.
- Provide financial analysis and advice to support business decision making.
- Oversee the preparation of customer and supplier invoices, credit control, and debtor and creditor management.
- Support the commercial and operational teams in contract negotiation and project delivery.
- Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
