Marketing Apprentice

**JOB TITLE**:Marketing Apprentice

**SALARY**:Apprentice scale

**PURPOSE**:To assist and support the Marketing Team to develop materials and tools to deliver communications to installers and for customers to use to attract new business.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Contributing to SEO strategies by reviewing performance and looking at improvements.
- Organising and assisting with administration of customer events and preparation for team meetings. This may include sending information, following up through telephone and confirm details at regular points.
- Collating content for internal communications to employees including surveys, posters, staff newsletters to build employee engagement..
- Managing photo library, brochure library and video library and ensuring version control over all points they are used.
- Updating and maintenance of customer CRM system for marketing purposes to ensure accurate data for marketing communication purposes.
- Reviewing and capturing social media activity from customers to use as case studies.
- Assist with creating marketing assets for Glazerite own and customer marketing, this include creating marketing print materials, logos, video content and images, full guidance and training will be given.
- Management of printed brochure stock and distribution to customers.
- New customer information packs, creating and sending to ensure they have all they need.
- Support and administration for ordering and issue of branded workwear for staff.
- General Administration and support for sales and marketing team as and when required.
- Any other duties required by the company.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- A strong interest in marketing both traditional and digital channels.
- An eye for detail and interest in design created through a number of tools.
- Taking on board and managing feedback and direction for projects being delivered.
- Interest in learning new systems and processes and an ability to work with them.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fairly fast paced environment.
- A highly organised approach to their work and keen to work in a learning team environment.
- Confidence, a high level of motivation and creativity.
- Keen to progress in marketing a continue with further education after apprenticeship leading to CIM/IDM qualifications.
- The following are desirable but not essential
- Experience of using a mac and creative suite programmes particularly photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with content management systems
- An interest in social media including Twitter, and Facebook, linked in and youtube and how it can be used in a professional environment.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

5-9 grades in GCSE Maths, English and ICT (or equivalent).
Willing to work towards their NVQ Level 3 in Digital Marketing
