**The Opportunity**

Independent Resourcing Consultancy (IRC) is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced **Wealth Management Practice Manager** / **Operations Manager** for an extremely well run, well-established, boutique Wealth Management / IFA firm based in Buckinghamshire.

This really is a rare opportunity for someone who primarily comes from an operations / process background, **not sales** side of the financial services industry, to join at Director Level.

**Role overview**

The Wealth Management Practice Manager will support the Wealth Advisory Team and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring that all office administration, client servicing, and processing duties are performed on time and FCAlegally compliant at all.

This position would be ideal for someone with similar experience supporting a Financial Advisory team and their business in a high-level operational capacity.

**Role requirements**
- **Level 6 Diploma** (Adv DipFA) or **Degree educated**.
- **At least 2 years’** experience in a **similar operational / operations** capacity where you have supported a team of financial advisors.
- Experienced using "**Intelligent Office**" IO
- It is essential that you are confident in dealing with colleagues, third parties and can work with total discretion
- Ensure that all IFAs follow FCA and internal compliance protocols, ensuring that all client files and information are compliant and confidential, and that internal procedures, such as complaints, **anti-money laundering**, and **GDPR**, are followed.
- Ensure that all client agreements, including fee schedules, are in place, signed, documented, and stored, as well as that all client records on IO are current.
- Review and update outdated processes, as well as build and manage new effective systems, processes, and procedures that enable Partner/Advisor(s) to optimize client meetings
- Create cases and manage the processing of new business within the team
- Ensuring that the end-to-end business process is efficiently handled and tracked in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the work of external paraplanners
- Analyse business reports, trends, and statistical data to discover opportunities and obstacles that may impede the Practice's success.
- Ensure that Senior Manager Conduct Rules are followed at all times in respect of FCA regulations;
- Ensure that all IFA’s are up to date with their continuous professional development, maintaining their certificates and arranging appropriate courses when necessary;
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office Programs
