ABL 1 Touch are a market leading vehicle repair business since 1994, working in partnership with insurance companies. ABL 1 Touch prides itself not only in the quality of its work but in providing excellent customer service.
As we continue to grow, ABL 1 Touch are looking to recruit **Recovery Driver **to join their Team based in **Bilston**.
As a **Recovery Driver**, you will ensure safe delivery / collection of all customers vehicles. You will be responsible for marking all damage on vehicles with chalk pen before taking images.
**Responsibilities of a Recovery Driver will include**:
- Ensure you contact every customer before arrival.
- Complete all Job Pack paperwork neatly and legibly and obtain signatures where required.
- Ensure Customer Vehicle Condition Report is complete in addition to any images taken before passing to Estimators.
- Follow all procedures within the Drivers Procedure and Process Manuals, with no exception.
- Comply with the Drivers Tacho Break Regulation 2009 (if applicable).
- Policy Excess, VAT Bills and Private Quotes - ensure payment has been taken before leaving site - if payment has not been paid, query with the Transport Manager.
- Ensure courtesy cars are up to standard and safe for customer use. Report any defects or damage to Transport Manager immediately
- Ensure you follow the correct procedure when dealing with customer complaints.
- Undertake all driving tasks as directed by the Transport Manager and in accordance with the Driver Procedure & Responsibilities Manual and Drivers Process Manual.
- Take ownership in your day planning and working cost effectively and with the customer at the forefront all the time.
- Be flexible with your approach
- Move cars in/ out of the workshop at the start or end of the day
- Wash customer or courtesy cars where necessary
- Locate and move vehicles for salvage agents
**Skills and experience required as a Recovery Driver**:
- Must be over 21 and have a full UK driving license.
- Driver Qualification Card, capable of driving up to 7.5 tonne
- Digi Driver Card
- Experience in vehicle recovery is preferable
- Team Player who uses initiative, be flexible and have a can-do attitude.
